Borogu – A great kava at a great price.

This is the most popular and a staple variety in Vanuatu served at most Kava Bars. The grind makes it easy to prepare in any strainer and kneading is a breeze.

Effects: Balanced

This is considered a good afternoon kava. It is still a balanced kava that starts out a little heady but tiring effects are more pronounced with higher doses and tend to set in a few hours after consuming.

Product Description

We are happy to be offering a great price on the tried and true Kava Root, Borogu straight from Vanuatu.

This particular kava is sourced from a supply of many of the Kava Bars in Port Vila, Vanuatu. They take primarily the stump to serve, leaving us with mostly the higher kavalactone lateral roots! This batch is approxiamately 90% lateral root composition. Feel your cares melt away with this great all around kava root.

Borogu is a popular variety throughout Vanuatu and the rest of the Kava drinking world. There’s a reason it is the most widely grown and drank, it’s great all around Kava.

Reliable vendor always good kava. This Borogu is one of my favorites and I regularly buy this. Great type of kava if just starting out and great for social settings as it’s not sleep inducing. Can’t go wrong with Kalm!

    (verified owner):

Probably my favorite kava option from Kalm. Relaxing, euphoric, and not a bad flavor (although I love the taste of kava). I definitely would recommend to anyone. And not a bad price!

I’ve tried four types of kava and all from this vendor. While they’re all wonderful, borogu is so far my favorite. I know it’s supposed to be a good afternoon kava but it’s actually hit me the hardest, and that’s including the loa waka (but I’ll be revisiting that soon!). Nice relaxing kava and the best I’ve slept in years!
