As a newbie to kava I have looked forward to a cup of micronized borogu to unwind at night since it was received. I did a lot of research before selecting this brand, and I am glad I came across the product line. I usually feel tense for the majority of the day so it helps with sleep and anxiety. I will probably try some of the other kava types later, but for now I am enjoying what I chose. Thanks for the fast shipping and new experience.

Shout out to Mike and the gang. They must put a lot of time, effort and love in their product because it’s the best Kava I have tried. I stopped drinking kava a few years ago because I got burnt with crappy Kava too many times. Glad we have a go to guy now 😀

I’m a kava newbie. As a 50-something with chronic anxiety, osteo and rheumatoid arthritis, and muscle stiffness, I have been looking for herbal/OTC supplements that will help control my symptoms without the druggy, lethargic feel that heavy prescription drugs cause. A couple of years ago, I tried some Kava from a vendor I now know to be unreliable, and I was disappointed. Having read the great reviews on KWK products, I decided to take a chance on KWK’s kava. I’m so glad I did!
I am thrilled by the quality, price, and shipping speed of Kalm with Kava products. About two weeks ago, I purchased the micronized Vula Waka and Borugu Kavas. Two days later, they arrived, which was surprising, as I chose the cheapest shipping option. Upon opening the jar, I noticed how fresh and potent the smell of both varieties was. They did not disappoint!
I tried the Borugu first. Yes, it has a strong taste, but I managed to get it down. Within ten or twenty minutes, I felt the first effects: calming (without loss of mental acuity), and a lessening of the knots in my trapezius muscles. It also lifted my mood (again, without making me feel “drugged.”)
I tried the Vula Waka next. The taste was less “spicy” than the Borugu, but it was a bit harder to get down; however, again, it was worth the effort. The Vula Waka had a more calming effect, with a greater lessening of muscle tension, but it was a bit more sedating…not in a bad way, but I have been using it as my “bedtime” dose about 30 minutes before I want to sleep. I got a great night’s sleep and woke refreshed the next day.
The most remarkable thing about the KWK micronized Kava is that it takes less and less each time I use it. I’d heard of the “reverse tolerance’ effect, but frankly thought it was too good to be true. Wrong! At least in my experience, it has been true.
I re-ordered about two days ago, opting to try the Damu special variety, as I want to try a headier Kava, and the Pouni Ono isn’t in stock in the micronized Kavas. . It’s already out for delivery, according to the tracking, so I’m really looking forward to trying it.
Needless to say, I’m very happy with Kalm with Kava products. If anybody out there is “on the fence’ or has tried Kava from other vendors with poor results, give KWK a try. You’ll be glad you did!
