I have purchased this in the pouni ono a couple of times now and I really love it. It is calming without being tiring, and no hangover the next day! While I wouldn’t say I feel particularly “Awake” on this Kava, I do not feel it relaxes you into tiredness like some do. Relatively smooth for Kava, great with a few drops of lemon stevia.

WOW! This is my first time EVER feeling what KAVA really has to offer. I’d like to elaborate by stating I’ve used Kava in the past. About 2 years ago I decided to try a Kava extract from a different company(I didn’t really do my research). It did absolutely nothing but make me nauseous and my mouth slightly numb. I wrote Kava off for 2 years after that experience because I thought it was a waste of my time and money. KALM- NOW I SEE THE LIGHT!! Just wanted to post up a quick review…pretty new to Kava. Had only tried one of the “bigger” less expensive Vendors before trying KWK…WOW, so glad I tried you guys. It’s like night and day the difference. Your Kava has a much better taste and the effects are what I was hoping Kava would be like! Initially tried the Borogu, which was nice. Just got the other 3 micro varieties, and downed a cup of the Pouni Ono. Very nice way to end a day of work (I work from home). Nice mild effects, nothing too overpowering. Such a BIG difference to what I had before. Can’t wait to try the rest, and I will be ordering again soon. THANKS KWK, for having quality products. Hope to try the medium grind and preparation ritual soon too. Highly recommend that if you think Kava is not for you, try out KWK before you give up. Total different/BETTER experience.

Just bought two, 2 ounce Pouni Ono micronized powder. One for me, and one for my girlfriend. Wow. I am VERY pleased with this stuff. Because I struggle with depression and lethargy just as much as I do with anxiety, I decided to go with the Pouni because I knew I wanted to be productive during the day and not feel at all tired. One side-note however is that I just took 7 teaspoons about an hour ago, and the other day i took 5. So I am going over the dose recommendation quite a bit. Regardless, there is no question about the effectiveness of this kava, I feel euphoric, light, and literally no negative side effects that I can tell at all. It also gives me a productive feeling, like i want to accomplish my goals. I’ll definitely be buying a big jar next time. This will not “cure” anxiety, as i can still think negative thoughts and go down that route if i want to… but the key word is want to. I feel like this gives you some sort of platform to stand on where you don’t get pulled down as easily. It keeps you from running down the rabbit hole, and gives you the power again to make a choice to have a good, productive and happy day. LOVE IT!
